{Manga!England in magician's cape/outfit/uniform, clearly holding a spell book.}

"England. A former pirate, but now a gentlemanly {Nation} with lots of rain. Cynical and hates to lose.
France is a long-time friend {England}'s always bickering with.
However, in the back of their minds, they accept each other."
- Paint it White {Movie}; Japanese Version
{when England and France find their own "profiles" on the Pict aliens' monitor,
read aloud to them via England's translator phone application.}

{England's newest anime-verse profile as of Hetalia World Stars: "The World Twinkle" [2021],
also the most recent profile as a whole.}

(ASK to Use!)

{England and Germany interacting semi-positively during the anime adaption of the "Christmas Truce"-based strip.}
(in which England also happily implies England'd like there to be a "next time" seeing Germany outside of battle, too.)

Character Name: England {"Arthur Kirkland"}
(England normally goes by Nation-name ICly with those who are aware England is a Nation.
Amongst human characters, especially those not British, England may use "Arthur" as a way of camoflauge'ng England's identity.)
Canon: Hetalia World Stars (Manga)
Canon Point: modern day, around 2020 outside of games (or before December 2025 depending on where I'm RPng)
(I am very open to Historical Hetalia AUs/plotting. Please reach out and ask me if you are interested in setting something up for a PSL!)
Age: 23 in Human-esque years.
Incorrect fanon information often listed this as "21" but Himaruya's blog "Bamboo Thicket", which predates Himaruya's current site and Hetalia's Shounen Jump Online publications, directly clarifies "23".
Height: The Collezione artbook published as an un-official overall, but officially published tie-in book previously lists this ""officially"", but this is my current stance.
While I personally do not HC England to be shorter than 5'0'', I usually HC England to be somewhere around 5'2''.
(+National) Flower: Red (typically portrayed as Tudor) Rose, but also Red Roses more generally.
England is canonically a gardener and grows them {+edible things in general} in England's garden in the more modern era but also historically around the time of the Anglo-Japanese Alliance.
(In the aforementioned linked art, the trio consisting of England, Japan, and Netherlands has been nicknamed the "Garden{ing}/{Gardener}" trio in the past as they canonically are "Discussing Gardening" in that panel.)

{Various Canon Profile Details}

Accent/Language: Main is British English.
(Historically could speak many forms of English including Old English during Shakespeare's era,
but language usage changes and fluctuates as time goes on.)
{Knows British Sign Language in my mind (and some American Sign Language) though rarely pulls it out to other Nations, but definitely will if it's required for conversation in general.
I also headcanon that during the Anglo-Japanese Alliance Kiku tried to teach Arthur Japanese Sign Language,
though Arthur is still learning.
Can also use Canadian English/spelling [in texts] via Canada. It is also different from British Spelling.}
Birthday: Canonically Unknown.
Japanese fandom has a "fan birthday" for England around March 3rd, nicknamed "Mayuge Day" or "Eyebrows Day".
April 23rd is another fan-chosen date (in mainly US and UK fandoms) as it is Saint George's Day,
somewhat considered to be England's "national day" and many fans typically agree National Days would be their "birthdays".
However, it is important to note these dates are not canon.
ICly, England will act as if England legitimately does not remember in full,
but will definitely acknowledge things like Saint George's Day in passing.
Hair Color: Honey blond, a somewhat darker shade in the manga than typically perceived
(and as shown in the anime).
Eye Color: Deep emerald green in the anime.
In my HCs, England has more Hazel-color eyes that can show as a deep green or also as a darker Brown.
Weight: Unknown / "Secret"
(England is canonically similar in build to Japan however if taller and a bit more muscular.)
Weaknesses: A major one is his food/cooking but England's Getting Better in the more modern-day era.

Personality:

"If I can do 'something' about it, I will help.
Because we're all fellow nations.
We fight each other, we help each other,

and together we can do 'what' we wouldn't be able "to do" if we were alone."

- North Italy a.k.a. "Veneziano" / Feliciano Vargas in "Heta-Oni", fan-made horror RPG series,
on the personified "Nations"
{implying the case also applies to if they are more long-term/fully and completely "alone" in the world.}
{England, meanwhile, is also in this scene as Italy directly states this to all of gathered Ger+{Ita}+pan trio,
Allies, Romano, Spain, Canada, and Prussia.}

"'TWO SECONDS' is long enough. To save the 'life' of one nation... you know..."

- America a.k.a. Alfred F. Jones in "HetaOni"
{also speaking directly to the entire gathered group at time.}

"..Do you really think you can come up with a 'solution' all on your own
when this fight involves so many people/{Nations}?"

- Prussia to North Italy, HetaOni
{with England in proximity/Aware of exchange}

* HetaOni is not "canon" material, nor do I include it permanently or semi-permanently in my RP;
I simply lift very light inspiration from it sometimes for my Historical Hetalia-based portrayals.
{There are many aspects when it comes to HetaOni!England's later story that I completely leave out of my own HCs.}

England is a "Nation" - a personification of England's history with an overall non-human form of the United Kingdom, specifically also simply the region of England more specifically as of current canon.

{Halloween 2010 Event; the Nations begin disappearing one-by-one,
and a news broadcast by humans refers to them directly yet vaguely as "Those People".}

Also as of current canon, England will act as the "head" to represent Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland in turn (as this is the case in "Hetalia World Stars" manga currently); but England does not act wholly as their immediate "family" by any means of that interpretation or even brother. At times, England may not refute if others interpret their relations that way in order to "keep the peace" or otherwise to protect the others.
However, it does not mean England has to like it on an internal, personal level by any means.

{The United Kingdom Group}

{England detailing the combined "House Rules" in a short story of
"what would have happened" before Chapter 405 of Hetalia World Stars.
'I drew the exchange that would have happened before ch.405. I'll post it here as a supplement.' - Himaruya's caption}
(Light crossed-out edits Mine for Characterization Emphasis.)

{Wales, snarking directly at England's blatant hypocrisy.}
(Some text was removed for Characterization Emphasis.)

{Hetalia World Stars Chapter 477; How it actually eventually goes in my mind.}
{How far in the future does this happen, you ask?? Don't worry about it.
I had a Scottish-Welsh grandmother on my still living Scottish-Welsh Grandmother's line, okay,
I KNOW what I'm talking ABOUT.}
{Also, in my mind, Cornwall is also a Nation separate from England by some point of the modern era post-2025.}

As a result of being a nation, England canonically is presumed by most other "living" Nations and own self; to cannot fully "die" according to their canonical lore, but nations have been shown being killed/dying before, such as Rome, Germania, Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt and other such so-called "Ancient" nations - it's also heavily implied that Francis very specifically may have killed the Holy Roman Empire in some sort of battle as depicted in the strip "Holy Rome Is No More", which Francis, very visibly "banged up"/injured with a bandage on head and hooked up to a hospital-like IV, apologies vaguely to Feliciano Vargas {North Italy} for in turn in a long since deleted-yet-infamous strip from Himaruya Hidekaz' old website Kitayume.
NikoNiko Republic, a Japanese micronation character introduced in later years, was the so far only confirmed Nation to lose Nation status and inherently live (as this micronation began as a Japanese/Japan-based human), to the point Japan was asking out of genuine curiosity "how it was" for NikoNiko Republic returning to "{typical} life {as a human}".

{Halloween 2013 Event; Sealand (Peter) and Ladonia lament that NikoNiko Republic's
"living like a """regular""" human,
implying this ISN'T something that Nations 'normally' do canonically,
and even if they were forced to for dire circumstances, they would more likely than not initially resist
for as long as possible, depending on the Nations involved.
NikoNiko Republic also has a canonically-born human child or son.}
(Maybe there can be exceptions However...)

My England is primarily being RPd with characterization from the original Japanese version
adjusted to fit Historical Hetalia headcanons, NOT the early US English dub/localization.
Please respect this if you choose to interact with me and refer to JPN canon materials above.

Another more recent (but still older by now) earlier Comic Birz published strip, from when Hetalia World Stars had just started being published, Chapter #13 of the current main canon series, confirms Catholic preists of the era were sending way too many people to ""Hell"", and that demons exist in Hetalia lore.
However, as this one much more clearly referenced a joke about Cultural Christianity, I've decided to interpret it closer to that -
"Hell" not being nearly as literal in the lore as people may be led to believe, including for all the Nations.
Heaven, meanwhile, also technically canonically exists in Hetalia lore; Ancient Rome shows up in spirit-form to briefly visit Germany canonically once.

But meanwhile, "God" is also a canon character, canonically even speaking directly to Hungary once, among a few other instances of appearing.
("God" is also referenced numerous times in "The Glorious World" tie-in seventh musical,
with Romano, in disguise, having an entire song where Romano acts as if Romano was "sent by God" to speak to France,
trying to convince France to mend France's long-standing feuding with England, declaring "Love is the answer".
France, in turn, is highly distressed by this event and genuinely believes it to be God if shocked by God's sudden appearance,
while also equally distressed that the occurance was about France and England's feud, worrying about what it would mean for France.)
However, other than that specific musical (which aired in recent years) "God" as a character
hasn't been seen since later website events that tended to happen around holiday timeframes.

{Frequent Deaths/Revivals}
Since England and France especially have a long, drawn-out history of {often perceived as "bloody"} conflicts, I do tend to follow the headcanon that both of them have died repeatedly over the ages and "revived"/"reincarnated" into whatever is their current Nation body/form.

{"Though I May Depart, You Shall Remain", a France-centric strip linked above.
The two characters are French (or) France-based, talking about France's seeming "Immortality".}

ICly, England is somewhat secretive of this information especially when speaking with other human characters or those from England's, America's, France's and Japan's (along with Canada's and most etc) medias that England recognizes specifically. However, stories of England's and France's misadventures become so widespread in my HCs that some of them are "open secrets", "Everybody Knows" style, especially by later in history.
{This is especially/seemingly the case canonically for human characters that approach the Nations,
and speculate on the Nations' histories together and how it must have "been like" for them.}

{"Though I May Depart, You Shall Remain",
The two characters continuing to speak on how "Immortality" must be like for Nations,
living among/in love with humans. (Continued)}

Many of these "deaths" remain fully private between England and France and themselves only.
(However, in my headcanons England also had various run-ins with other Nations, especially Spain and {later} Portugal
{when their relationship collapsed much more}.)
{Japan, meanwhile, never managed to land a final death directly on England.}

{"Though I May Depart, You Shall Remain", Continued,
emphasizing The Nations Are Not "Normal" 'Beings'.
(and perhaps it's not a "good thing" to be near-fully immortal/rarely ever die.)}

Many of them can cause sore spots to rise between the two but in the modern era, they've slowly started to smooth out their international relations both professionally and genuinely as once-"friends".

"Now it's time for me to share something about myself. It's a thought I always keep in mind. I believe that anyone who's been toyed with by history is always reborn. They're born under {regular} circumstances. They laugh, they play... And they even 'fall in love' just like anyone else. In their next life, they live out a happy and peaceful life somewhere in this world.
... THAT'S what I truly think."

- France {Francis Bonnefoy}, speaking canonically to "Lisa", the human-born reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc

France canonically has confirmed very specifically in an older blog strip from Himaruya's website Kitayume:
"Well, everyone has an old scar or 'two'..."
(Which clearly implies many Nations likely having more than that,
as 'or two' in English is usually phrasing meant to conceal such information otherwise.)

England, in my headcanons, also has many scars, but not many may not be visible directly on England's face.
Canonically, we've seen England both shirtless and when bathing (Arthur has also canonically bathed at Kiku's house during the Anglo-Japanese Alliance, also showing self shirtless around Kiku), most instances suggesting if England does have obvious scars there, they're not immediately visible.
However, at one point one of England's image songs declared England has a guitar tattoo,
("My tattoo really hurts, but it's a hot six-string!!")
- which also appears to be concealed and/or hidden in at least anime-specific lore.
Old artwork from yet more post-2010 recent years of the manga, also portraying England in gun warfare, also shows England covered in light injuries and bruises visible on England's face.
So it can be presumed such things heal as time goes on for them -- but maybe not fully.
As well, in the Hetalia musicals spin-off series, England is clearly adept at gun-based warfare there,
especially in "The Glorious World", or the 7th musical, which focused on England and France's history together;
in that musical, England also psuedo-"teams up" with France at a point against Prussia.

{England's House}

{"England lives in an [English] manor." - Himaruya Hidekaz}
{Pictured is a similar manor in proximity of England during an anime episode.}

{from the Hetalia Calender/artbook 2012; "September" page,
seemingly implying England at England's house/manor interior.}
(Japan was also pictured at home on one page of the same calender)
{On the right-hand side, various books and even some trinkets England collects can be seen}
(Speaking of the bear on the chair...)

{England canonically sleeps with teddy bears/stuffed animals, but specifically stuffed bears are seen.}

{France snuck a photo of this around the time of Christmas previous to April Fools 2011.}
{England is clearly embarrassed to have the secret revealed,
fighting France consistently to not release the photo.}
{"Britannia Kick" is a somewhat joke-attack that England's Angel form also canonically has,
as seen here when England tried to "utilize" it on France.}
(It might be a reference to a football joke/pun.)

The strip Fantasy England implies England lives here with many magical creatures.
France once tried to enter without knocking and in the past was shocked seeing England's fantasy friends.

By the April Fools event strips here, adapted to the anime, France canonically acknowledges England using magic.
(Even requesting it of England initially, who then turns it against France in psuedo-'revenge' for France's antics.)

{France, in a "Rampaging"-esque mode that originated from an earlier Christmas event, is threatened with England's magic [+Star wand].}
(Gifs with credit to matsuey, a deleted Tumblr)

{Halloween 2013 Event;
It is implied Norway, who also has ability to see magical creatures
[and whose 'Nation Pet' is actually a troll]
is originally one of the very few who could always see England's friends by default,
but it's implied they also didn't know each other as close or as long as England knew France.
(Instead, when it came to the Nordics, a younger England was often seen running away from a slightly older Denmark to hide.)
Iceland is also visible in the strip above, but doesn't react verbally to them,
instead seemingly pouting a little at England, Norway, and the creatures' "bonding".
Miss Fairy, one of England's more notable/named fairy friends, sits prominently/friendly on Norway's head.}

{In a May 2010 bonus/nonlinear image, Denmark,
usually portrayed slightly older than Younger England during this era in-story,
is seen searching for the other,
while England covering self with a cloak, genuinely scared of the other,
hides with a non-magical rabbit (temporary) friend whispering "shh!!"}

By Halloween 2013, it's implied France
and various gathered other Nations at time can all see spirits/ghosts/yokai,
even if France previously/frequently rejected France's ability to "see" in the past.
France teams up with some spirits to help pull off an event,
while England also teams up with the fantasy creatures from England's house among many others.
{This is also because every year at Halloween, England and America compete to out-scare each other.}
(I only vaguely keep those parts of the events in my own headcanons - usually I prefer to portray this to my preferences/specifications.)

{Howard and Howard's Grandson/Family}

During the world wars, "Can't Escape from Italy" is a strip where
England dresses up as a psuedo-spy to sneak information from Italy and Germany's sides.

{Official Deen-era anime art of Spy!England.}

In this strip, it's revealed England had a longtime assistant who came around (or lived at)
England's house assisting England in England's Nation and Personal duties, named "Howard".

By the 2010 Christmas Event, Howard has a grandson,
(and also implied a family) as Howard had retired by then.

{when a spirit appears behind England early on in the Christmas 2010 event,
Japan tries to exorcise it [the Buddhist way, not exactly the Christian way].}

{Seriously, Japan is Not A Christian
[+Christianity, or even Paganism/Neo-Paganism, isn't inherently the main religion for every Nation in this series.]}

{"I was almost sent to Heaven again..."}
{"We got scolded by a [spirit]..." - the rest, bemused}
{Flying Mint Bunny, one of England's most notable fantasy creature companions, flies behind Kiku in the bottom right panel.}
(Likely recognizing Kiku from during the Anglo-Japanese Alliance era, I headcanon it also feels friendly towards Kiku,
even if Kiku doesn't verbally acknowledge it or even "choose" to see it.)
{the spirit, looking scarily like Howard, laments but makes a promise to return.}

Howard and Howard's grandson are some of my favorite minor/side characters that are humans in Hetalia,
so I do very much prefer to keep them in my England headcanons' lore.
However, as they're very rarely seen, these are not characters typically RP'd.
England may mention them from time to time however, as England very much considered at least Howard a closer something-like-"friend";
I want to believe that Howard's grandson would grow closer to England over more time in turn,
since it's implied the family continues to assist England for generations, and willingly, as friendly to the Nations.

Himaruya Hidekaz had this to say about pets that live in close proximity of the Nations;
it's been speculated due to NikoNiko Republic's backstory
{and the aforemenioned above strip, "Though I May Depart, You Shall Remain" almost literally clarifying such}
-- that it's the same for humans and Nations in turn:

{Pochi[-kun] is Japan's white pet dog while Hanatamago is Finland's dog.
Kumajirou is Canada's Nation pet polar bear.}

Most of England's "pets" are in actuality fantasy creatures,
who are already immortal, so they are seemingly not affected by any of this as much.
England is frequently seen befriending small rabbits and horses that aren't magical in the real world, however,
among various other small forest-like animals.
It can be presumed this effect would be the same for any of them who are not magical creatures.

{Another human-world television promo ad had America promoting the product as "Alfred".}
{It is one of the only instances in which the human names are canonically used in the actual series.}
{There is one other instance in which Kiku's name is directly referenced in non-linear material, but Arthur's,
among the rest of the Nations who have been even briefly under England's rule, never is.}
{Canonically, ONLY Sealand is given the last name of "Kirkland", full human name being "Peter Kirkland";
however, this also never comes up in actual dialogue in the series - Sealand never acknowledges this surname verbally.}

Though the nations technically have "human names", only a few handfuls of names were given officially.
Many fans prefer to pick-and-choose what they'd prefer as human names,
even at times for canon characters who were already given official names.
I'm personally fine with sticking with "Arthur Kirkland" for England.
I'm also fine with going with people's headcanoned names for nations in canonical close proximity to England
like Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, etc,
as long as my other preferences mentioned above are followed.

{"The Storage"}

Another prominent aspect of England's House as described in canon is "The Storage".
America's Cleaning of the Storage is an older, non-linear strip that implied most Nations, including America, have some form of "storage" at their houses.
This storage can include room for storing old clothing/costumes, weapons, etc...
While I do like those aspects of this strip, I do have my own personal feelings on it too.
Personally, the 2nd half of it is one of my least favorite parts of the series' older canon.
I feel the fandom has said more than enough on it over the years to explain "why",
but personally, I choose to leave out most of the 2nd half as while I appreciate
America and England reconciling somewhat in the modern era as time goes on,
I do not feel comfortable keeping the entire strip in my HCs.
If someone has questions on what I'd prefer to leave out from this, please ask me by DM and respect these Preferences.

Instead, I tend to also view England's entire House as England's "storage".
"Fantasy England" linked above also seems to lightly imply England stores various items around everywhere.
Many of those items may even be magical, as the room was littered with spirits when France accidentally walked in.

England's manor, in my view, is definitely the type of manor that would have "hidden" areas and rooms,
typically accessible to only England.
England canonically can use curses as described in the lyrics of "Absolutely Invincible English Gentleman" song,
(also heavily implied by various scattered nonlinear strips, drama CDs, "England's Demon Summoning Song" etc.)
So I don't think it's far-fetched to assume England might place curses to prevent potential break-ins to take England's stash of items.
If Howard or Howard's grandson is at the manor (or anyone else from the family),
in my view they'd keep a close watch on the surroundings as time went on,
but since in RP England would typically be very separated from them,
in my headcanons since, England's old "House" has started falling into disrepair.
Other curses/hexes are in place to keep it looking as new as it once was from the outside,
But that magical barrier may fade around specific times of the year, close to the end of winter being a big one.
{This headcanon can be completely left out depending on preferences but I very much prefer to keep it in.}

(Note: Light starting spoilers for the fan-made horror RPG game "Hetalia Fox Tales",
discussing the inherent "Nation-ness" of the Personifications.
The game was made by a Japanese fan, so these can be considered from Japanese fandom perspectives.)

{Prussia's "Disappearance"/or "Fading" as US & UK-based/English-speaking fandoms may refer to it,
is a common plot point in fanon like fanfiction and meta after some canonical manga instances
bring up the topic, but fail to clarify on Prussia ["Gilbert"]'s eventual overall resolution of it.
The fangame here discusses the concepts,
and Spain ["Antonio"] brings up the point "death" may be different from "Disappearance".}

{Spain continues on to mention a potential 'spark of hope'.}
{Timeloops and time manipulation-based plots are common in horror rpg fangames for this series, like HetaOni,
which deals with the concept also very directly, but so does Hetalia Fox Tales here.}

{Halloween 2013 Event; Prussia, who is very much "present" in the modern era, vaguely mentions this again;
"When I'm at home by myself, I start thinking deeply about my existence {...}"
France even exclaims "Knock it Off"/"Quit It"/"Stop It", that's so sad!!" in exaggerated France-esque distress.}
{both Halloween 2011 Events and Halloween 2013 events presumably take place in the modern era --
-- in one event, the strip's dialogue directly references Twitter gaining steam post-2006~2011, going into the early 2010s,
and England officially has/had a Twitter account by these events.}
{France, meanwhile, is seen accompanying the main ghost/spirit that agreed to help France pull off the event.}
("Like a little bird" in the 2nd part of this quote is a refrain/frequently-used quote by Prussia in the fan translations that appears to be a positive reference towards "Gilbird",
the "little bird" Nation pet often seen accompanying Prussia, who also shares part of Prussia's human name.)
{Canonically, France, Prussia, and Spain in the modern era seem to consider themselves as vaguely friendly
[though France has canonically fought Prussia in the past] and are more commonly known nowadays as the
"Bad Friends Trio", which England is also aware of in their dynamics, if not by the exact nickname.]}

{all Hetalia Fox Tales caps contained in this are by me.}
{As these were taken directly from the game, they can be referenced,
but PLEASE DO NOT repost all of them in full/at once.}

{Halloween 2011 Event; America, confirming the main canon timeline had progressed to at least post-2006 in the modern-day era.}
(For the most part, I do not keep most of the following America and England scenes as exact in my headcanons.)
{England in these same strips canonically dresses up both as a generic interpretation of Sherlock Holmes earlier on,
then changes to Robin alongside America's Batman, if much more unwillingly at first.}

The concepts mentioned in the section just above this continue to be heavily developed/elaborated on in-game by the HetaFox creator,
and as I personally enjoyed a lot of these concepts from where Spain started with them,
I tend to pick-and-choose my favorite ideas to keep in my own headcanons concerning the
types of potential Nation "deaths" versus "disappearance",
as well as them potential having human names, even as "false names", may tie into all of this.
(In this scene, for example, Netherlands {with a fan-chosen human name that I personally do not prefer to keep,
but highly respect this fan game's concepts on Nations lore regardless} points out, point-blank,
in strong defense of Japan (who Netherlands has historically gotten along with rather well)
Japan who canonically in the Japanese version uses the term/name {Nihon} for self in Japanese as "Japan" in Japanese is "Nihon", likely didn't start with the name "Kiku Honda" either,
which Japan also seems to confirm towards the beginning of the fangame if vaguely.)

{Netherlands in the same fangame directly addresses long-deceased Rome
amongst a host of other historical characters-based "spirits" temporarily "visiting",
to warn the Nations affected of impending doom/crisis.}

My general answer to this often-debated question was already broken down in great detail here.
For now, please refer to those references as to my "answer"/own preferences
(I may also expand on this section in the future.)

This topic has also been broken down briefly in the past in meta here.

France is commonly seen speeding across other borders {not Switzerland's as much} during various holiday events of old,
especially April Fools' Day but it can also happen around Halloween and Christmas events.
This is often so France can "prank" the other Nations during April Fools, especially England.

{Seriously, Switzerland is scary --}
{from the original "Christmas Rampage 2007" Christmas event,
in which France's Rampaging Form, a mostly-nude France with cat ears and tail, debuts.}
{England has a similar form in this event but it may just also be "Drunk England" at its max.}

A few times England has been seen canonically chasing after France in turn, even if England can't always "catch up".
It can be presumed based on this information that England has this same ability, if limited compared to France's or Italy's speed more specifically.
Personally I prefer to headcanon this as England would be embarrassed to pull it out in front of humans
that England knows is canonically from other medias within Dreamwidth RP spaces.
However, if it was in front of a Brit/English citizen, England might be more willing to "show off" this ability if England felt the other might find it amusing/cool/awe-inspiring.
This headcanon can also be completely left out depending on others' preferences but it's also one I prefer to keep in if going by canon lore.

These concepts have also been broken down in meta over here,
including with canon references that relate back to England's potential ability to do this canonically.

(The introduction around when "Hetalia World Stars" began debuting under it's new title stated all this quite clearly):

{The haircurl/"ahoge" of the nation in the bottom left panel looks very similar to Greece's, who has a long history/own mythology, including a vast amount of mythological lore concerning time.}

{England sarcastically questions America's "Google" references when it's "42 years from now",
but also doesn't appear to refute it completely,
implying England may be aware of significant future events, if to limited degrees.}
(i.e. to the timeframe Google debuted by 1998, for example.)

{a.k.a., no, HetaOni did not completely make up the contexts of the Nations' and England's time travelling ability potential
even if they don't always pull it out canonically, it doesn't mean they never can.}

Any of this is canon details I can leave out from my RP, but it cannot be denied that these scenes are main canon.
Personally, within meta, headcanons, fanfiction, etc. I enjoy imagining may different concepts surrounding these contexts, but England will not be bringing these abilities anywhere if it'd be "breaking" the style of play.

Compared to Nations like Iceland, who had an entire strip series about Iceland's "birth" and what Iceland did or didn't know,
We only see an actual interpretation of England as a{n actual} baby in main canon once in the entire series,
during the above Christmas-related strip showing "England and France" 'Through the Ages'-style on Christmas timeframe.

{an alternatively/early translated version that leaves out the pun,
which makes it lost in translation.}

Here, England appears as a trembling baby in a blanket who can only say "idiot" {"baka" in Japanese} to France.
However, a pun that might be lost from the Japanese version is England mispronounces it, making it instead sound like "byaka"
(which gets translated into baby-speak like seen above).
France is slightly older, but equally trembling in turn and able to speak more (+clearly) by this point.
The strips like this imply that England and France at least temporarily grew up alongside each other before they parted ways;
only to reunite later on; "The Glorious World" musical also showcases this.

England at the time is never referred to any other name within the aforementioned musical or canonically,
despite long-held fanon beliefs that England may be known as something like "Albion" when born.
France, similarly, including in the above mentioned materials, is never referred to as something like Gaul.

That said, if someone else approached England under the belief England did represent a previous "Albion",
England may indulge them for a point as England determines the situation at hand.
However, my preferences on these headcanons are extremely specific and I'd really prefer to discuss them first before approaching them in writing.

Personally, I also feel while this strip was cute,
I prefer to portray England's growth more realistically, including as both a "baby" Nation and a younger Nation.

Similarily, I tend to leave everything involving the "Chibirisu" form out of my headcanons
{a form in which a younger England appears to be part rabbit/has rabbit ears}
("risu" comes from "Igirisu", the Japanese word/name for England)
but some of its mannerisms from later materials and bonus images may be kept in my characterizations of England,
just nothing in an actual rabbit form.

{A non-linear strip featuring younger England and France alongside each other
'through the year 1000', as in the literal year 1000.
By now, England and France can both communicate with each other too;
England is also seen amongst befriended wild rabbits and other animals.
Japan, wearing some form of necessary glasses by now, reacts with surprise at their implications when "Y2K"/the year 2000 rolls around.}
(Hungary, meanwhile, shown in younger form above, briefly mentions having "just converted"
to a religion that Hungary didn't follow previously,
also implying even Nations can convert to the religion of their choice.)

The fanmade horror RPG game "Hetalia Fox Tales" included an entire adaptation of this sequence in cutscene format:
{Note: It has not yet been adapted into the anime.
As of this writing, the anime is unofficially on hiatus, not 'ended', so it does not mean this strip can
never eventually be included if it ever resumes.
It also came out after the initial anime up till "Paint it White" movie had happened.
Even "Paint it White"'s canon status is also debated within the fandom for various reasons, as it's anime-specific canon
that did not originate in the manga,
but I do lift inspirations from it as well like the quote that opens this essay.}

{Minor plot spoilers for France's plot mentioned in the following sequence}:

{Gifs/Caps from Hetalia Fox Tales all by Me.}

(Basically, Francis had lost France's memories
{Highlight for Spoilers} while protecting Arthur from a certain-death attack
during mid-late events of the game.)

It can be presumed both England or France would react exactly as similarly to any
"End of the World" type plots initially,
as England (+France aside) also alludes to in the strip above.

That doesn't mean they have to remain with such perceptions,
but to me it feels OOC for them when going by canon-based materials to completely ignore these sequences,
and portray them with "doomerism"-type mentalities that aren't affected
by severe extended events that would likely have to happen to them for them to gain such a mentality in the first place.

While I can leave this strip/these portrayals out from any potential scenarios
(obviously it also wouldn't happen in human AU scenarios) I'd prefer to discuss first how this would affect England,
especially during any sort of "world-'ending'" type plot especially if it's of Earth/the Nations' universe more specifically.

The 2010 Christmas Event features an entire storyline about this,
confirming "Alternate Universes" do exist in Hetalia lore and the characters/Nations
can interact with their AU selves.

The main parallel world featured literally contains "Parallel Nations",
specifically, "Parallel France #23" and "Parallel Spain" are the main ones to appear.

England is present for the duration of this event and reacts to the Parallel nations with the rest in turn.

While other Alternate Universes haven't been featured as ICly yet,
all signs point to "YES" that Nations are aware of Parallel worlds existing already
by at least 2010 timeframe, as this event seemingly takes place in a
modern era similar to the timeframe this event debuted.

As my England is RP'd from a post-2010 timeframe outside of Meme spaces,
this means my England would by default have knowledge of Parallel worlds existing
and have directly interacted with one already, including with memories of Parallel France{s} existing.
This entire storyline can be left out/adjusted from my RP headcanons/lore but I highly prefer to discuss first.

If my terms/preferences mentioned can not be agreed to/adjusted with, please DO NOT ask/SOLICIT me for RP.
{That includes on places like Enable Me Plz or Meme spaces}
I will refuse to RP where my preferences cannot be even the most basically respected.
Repeated pushes to disregard my boundaries/preferences, ship/kink pushing, {+'Familial'} AU headcanons pushing without discussion first, godmodding, etc. may mean me dropping threads or those involved being blocked.
